Fashion Show Review!

Today was the Fashion Show hosted by ToastyTim and $100 (Jake). We all had a great time and a new Moderator was announced! :D We had music, magic and even a little rain, where the V.I.C shirt was rained!

With every theme Jake changed the colour of the room, to make sure everyone new what they had to dress up in! Here are some testimonials on how great the party went!

Jake also made a BIG announcement... We have a new Moderator and his name is Mike! 

Mike has been with Chobots for a long time and has proven him self though blogging, agency and many other things. I couldn't have thought of anyone else more suiting for the job!

After that we all had a party in Rockemall street to celebrate Mike getting the job!

Fashion Show

Today the Chobots Team are hosting a fashion show and this time, I'll be able to attend!

 

The show will be held on Saturday, August 31st at 15:30 Cho-Time (3:30 pm). We will meet the staff at Café Street and then the party will be moved to a Staff's house. If you don't know when the party's going to start, click here.

Interview with Alexa

Today I met up with one of Chobots agents, Alexa and I interviewed her!

 

Alexander: How did you first find Chobots?
Alexa: Back when I was younger I used to play Club Penguin, then I saw on a Club Penguin bloggers website about Chobots. I decided to join and really enjoyed it. :D

Alexander: Nice! What is your favourite item on Chobots?
Alexa: Hm, I have so many. $: Probably the super pretty heart Angel Wings Magic or maybe my DOMO shirt. Not sure, hehe.

Alexander: If you could change your username to anything, what would it be?
Alexa: Hm, well I already have changed my name once, but if I could in the future maybe to Angel because I love Angels.

Alexander: What were you initial reactions to getting agency?
Alexa:  I was really, really shocked because it was actually a few days before the Agents Meeting. And before that I had receiving like only one recommendation, I really couldn't believe it.

Alexander: Chocolate or Pancakes?
Alexa: CHOCOLATE FOR THE WIN!

Alexander: Who is your favourite mod and why?
Alexa: Hm, well not sure if I have just one favorite but Yaniv and Bitten are both really cool, so probably them. They've done a TON for the community, and I feel they don't get recognised enough for their hard work. Maybe someday they will both be Admins. ^-^

Alexander: Good answer. What is your favourite thing to do outside of Chobots?
Alexa: Hm, well I have a few favorites. I like to play on my XBOX or go for walks outside and spend time with my family. So, really I have a few.

Alexander: What are your hopes for Chobots in the future?
Alexa: I'm really hoping the game can advertise with gaming websites to get more players. If Chobots had more players it would be so amazing.

Back to school Party Review

Yesterday was the back to school party! Jake started the party off with a quiz, where the winners got coming soon items! On Jakes first question, everyone got it right. So he rained some awesome Coming soon wings, Sadly the rain did not show up on some peoples screens. (Like mine)

After the quiz, there was lots of magic and we all had a lot of fun hanging out with the Chobots Staff. Master720 even taught Paris how to breakdance!

Later on there was a big crash and everyone was sent this letter from the Chobots Team.

After that, the party ended. Overall the party was short but a lot of fun to go to since I haven't been able to go to a party ages!

Journal Entry #6

All of my day today was pretty much taken up with hanging out at the Academy and playing games! As some of you may know, there is a Sliders, Checkers and Chess competition going on right now.

I'm not very good at board games, so I don't think I'll be doing this comp but if your interested. I'd get down there straight away!

September Journalists

August is coming to an end, which means it is time for new blogs to have the chance to enter the Journalist Program! Here are the requirements to apply:

• Your blog should be at least one month old and updated weekly.
•     The posts on your blog must be your own and creative. You may not copy from other blogs or websites.
•     Images found on the Official Blog may be used in your posts.

Here are the perks of being a Journalist!
Your blog will be featured on the play page

•     Journalist badge on your playercard with the title of your blog, along with an exclusive playercard
•     In the beginning of the month, one free week of Citizenship
•     Invited to an exclusive mailing list to receive information of upcoming events, future features and news before anyone else
•     You will receive the exclusive feather item automatically
•     You will be invited to write one blog post here on the Official Blog
•     The ability to contact a moderator through PC, even when their card is blocked
•        Your blog will be bookmarked by the Moderators
•     Your website will be featured on the Official Blog
•     And, a purple name tag

If you'd like to become a Journalist, submissions will be open until Saturday, August 31st, 2013. Make sure to put your blog link in the comments to enter. The Chobots Team will view all the blogs and announce the September Journalists.

If you were an August Journalist and are interested in remaining a Journalist, you aren't required to re-submit your blog.

Journal Entry #5

Today was a blast! In the afternoon, iBoy. The Lead Designer came online and invited us all to a fashion show at his house. Where we all had the chance to win a coming soon item! The themes were great and we all had a great time.



This was the summer theme, if you might not have guessed! Some of us even changed our skin colour to look a bit more tanned! :D

For me, this was my favourite round. We all had to get into groups and dress up in the same outfit! It was lots of fun and everyone managed to pull it off in the end! 1st place in this round were Agnesie, Coolest and Feryat. 2nd place were Independent and Darkmoon and 3rd place were Mike and Harrythebest!

 

Finally the fashion show came to an end and the winners where announced. The overall winner with 5 points was Sweetneetu!

Back to school party

The Summer holidays are closing to an end and many of you are already going back to school. So that's why the Chobots Team are hosting a 'Back to school party' to kick of a great school year!

 

The party will be held at the Academy Classroom, on August 27th, 2013 at 6:45 pm Cho-time on the most populated server. There's going to be fun music and magic, plus possible giveaways!

Updated Rules

Over many discussions and council gatherings, the Chobots Team have decided that some of the rules had to be revised.

Advertising - Discussing/promoting websites that do not necessarily relate to Chobots.
Asking for agency - Asking a moderator to receive the agent badge without working for it.
Asking for items - Begging/annoying other users for their valuable items.
Controversial discussion - Talking about subjects regarding religion and sexuality.
Dating - Engaging in "romantic online relationships".
Gifting - Begging/annoying other users for free gifts.

The Chobots Team thought that these rule changes would reflect the primary age-group and provide a more sensible gameplay for their users. Please remember that dating is still not allowed.  But if you do it, your account will not be punished in any way.

New Coming Soon Items!

As some of you may have noticed, the coming soon catalogs which you can find in the citizen HQ have been updated with many new and awesome items.

All of these are great but my favourite has to be the glass wings. Some of these designs were even designed by our very own Luna and Swifter! What's your favourite, commment below with you answer.

Updates!

Today there were some new updates!
First off, we got a new button in the top right-hand corner of the screen! It looks like this:

When you click it this shows up.

This is basically an easier way to communicate with the Moderators. I love this new button and I think it will help Chobots a lot!

Next, the colours pad in the underground has changed from colour wheel into a board with all the individual colours, I think this will make drawing in the underground much easier!

Journal Entry #3

Today was a  blast! To start off the day, it was Spencer's 1 year anniversary since joining Chobots! Congrats to him. Phil also put on some awesome magic to celebrate.

Later Sophia drew lots of Chobots in the underground. There's me!

Then we all headed to the green-screen room to help Furry shoot his CMV of Neon Pegasus! Can't wait to see that when it's finished. :)

Then at the end of the day we had a party in Twirl's house, then it got a little cramped. So we moved to Darkmoon's house where we had a fashion show!

Today was great! I wonder what will come up tomorrow!

Best dressed!

The past weekend was very different to other weekends, the whole of Chobots was coloured in black and white! Everyone enjoyed themselves with a fashion show and an awesome party. The Chobots team were also on the lookout for the best black and white outfits. The winners of the 'best dressed' competition have been chosen and here they are:

Black and White Weekend + Contest Winners!

Hey guys,

This is weekend is a very exciting one with events and contest all around! First off, this weekend is the Black and White weekend which means Chobots are advised to dress in black and white! Saturday is a fashion show day and then the weekend concludes with a party on Sunday. Here is the outfit I'm going to be wearing!

Today was a blast! In the morning Phil cam online and threw us a little mini party with lots of magic!

And then later we all got together and made a conga line! It was really fun and we had lots of laughs!

Updates!

Hey Chobots!

In the past few days, the Chobots team have been busy with introducing lots of more things into the Chobots world! The first few updated are that of the badges on the player cards.
The Journalist badge has changed into a sort of seal(not the animal!) design.

Next the Council badge now looks like a emblem with three stars at the bottom and chobots at the top!

The Citizenship items have also been updated and I can tell you for sure, they are awesome!

The 1 month package is only $4.99 and comes with a shark head, blue flame wings, lei, blue flame boots, a player card and the ability to trade!

The 6 month package is only $24.99 and comes with a crown, lollipop, red flame wings, red flame boots, a player card and the ability to trade!

The 12 month package is only $44.99 and comes with a spy costume (don't know real name), black flame wings, black flame boots, black chat bubble, paper bag mask, wave magic, music magic and a player card plus everything featured in the 1 and 6 month packages!

These packages look awesome! My favourite one is the Fire King package.

Note: If any of you did not receive all of the items you paid for, this bug has been fixed and you will receive your items shortly.

Today the ability to trade and gift was brought  back into Chobots, but better! Here are some pictures!

This way makes sure that no one can get scammed. :)

And now you get a notification whenever a friend comes online if you press this button on their playercard!
